Zafira/Astra Self Maintenance
After purchasing my incredibly good value Zafira (the 4th Vauxhall I've owned) I decided to start fixing it myself. I spent a few years managing a car shop and built up some experience there and after being ripped of by Vauxhall main dealers once too often I've started to play about myself.
Finding some well illustrated pictures of the Zafira is almost impossible, so every time I fix something on my Zaf I'll pop it on here.

Everything mentioned in this site relates to a 2003 1.6 model Zafira, the same engine is used in other Vauxhalls such as the Astra etc
What tools will I need?
OK so what tools will I need? Well not that many actually, but a good comprehensive tool box and quality socket set are an invaluable investment and in the future can safe you money. In each section I'll try my hardest to indicate what tools were used.
Don't forget though I am not a mechanic and any advice you take from me is your own risk. You may also find the site vauxhall owners network an invaluable resource as I've had some excellent advice from there in the past. Please use the link below.
Remember I am not a mechanic just an old school fix it on your drive man, so...if you see anything I have said that you disagree with, or you think you could add substance to my site, or you may even have some pics of your own maintenance then get in touch, thanks
